Job Description Summary:
Energy Efficiency college student to assist with energy efficiency program planning including benefit cost screening and data analysis. The position is open for the summer of 2018 with possible part time hours available beyond summer of 2018.
Qualifications: A college student with at least two full years of course work completed in engineering or mathematics or other technical field of study. The candidate should have good working knowledge of standard office computer software (e.g. Excel and Word) and a desire to work in the utility or energy efficiency industry. A knowledge of energy efficiency, basic electric principles, and knowledge of household energy use are desirable. In addition, candidate should have the ability to learn to analyze data and perform technical analysis of various types of energy efficiency projects.
Position Description: Individual will assist energy efficiency program staff with the development of energy efficiency program planning including calculations of savings estimates for energy efficiency projects, review of energy efficiency technical reports, analysis of energy efficiency program data, benefit-cost screening, and other duties as assigned.
