Job Description Summary:

Individual exercises judgment and discretion in the completion of tasks associated with the scheduling and coordination of the work schedule for Electric Operations. The primary deliverable from the Scheduler/Planner is to schedule all work to the day for a geographic area. Individual is responsible for monitoring and changing the schedule as needed to accommodate established goals; accountable for monitoring Level Of Effort (LOE) work and backlog; responsible to conduct weekly scheduling meetings; responsible to follow established guidelines regarding the scheduling process.

REQUIREMENTS:

Baccalaureate degree or the equivalent combination of education and directly related experience in addition to at least five years of related experience required. Knowledge of distribution maintenance, distribution construction, testing, distribution operations, and work management principles is highly desirable. Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety rules is also highly desirable. This position requires a working knowledge of work management systems and scheduling techniques. Experience with STORMS, Primavera, Fieldnet and C2 is highly desirable. Good computer skills and a working knowledge of Excel required. Incumbent must possess excellent multi-tasking skills, be detail oriented, meet expectations of multiple organizations and possess the ability to understand goal-driven deliverables. Individual will have storm restoration and emergency assignments.

Some experience with database skills, predictive modeling, R, Python, or Power BI a plus.
