Job Description Summary:

This role is responsible for supervising the implementation of Energy Efficiency projects for large commercial and industrial customers for electric and gas programs in Connecticut. Supervise the activities of Program Administrators to ensure Energy Efficiency projects for large commercial and industrial (C&I) customers are implemented in a customer-centric and cost efficient manner that drives high levels of participation. Provide strategy and vision to inspire and drive creative and effective solutions and have an immediate impact in a high-growth, fast-paced, fluid and entrepreneurial environment. Essential Functions: Supervise, coach, motivate, problem solve and provide feedback to Program Administrators to create and deliver effective Energy Efficiency programs that benefit large C&I customers. Ability to approach opportunities, problems and process improvement initiatives creatively and generate and implement new ideas with an objective of providing more value to the Customer. Responsible for the overall implementation of projects for large commercial, industrial and governmental customers to ensure achievement of goals. Responsible for contributing to strategic road-maps that advance sustainable energy efficiency practices amongst large commercial and industrial customers across Connecticut Collaborate with C&I Sales and Account Executives to market and deliver energy efficiency programs to customers. Ensure the selection and management of qualified contracted services for program implementation. In partnership with product management, develop early stage planning and analysis to promote emerging technologies and new programs to ascertain value in the marketplace. Support IT tracking system development and maintenance; plans and oversees system enhancements. Work with stakeholders to identify, promote and administer new and innovative approaches to blend Energy Efficiency with other initiates and opportunities.


Technical Knowledge/Skill: Strong business and operations management skills, analytical skills, engineering analysis. Strong team leadership, thought leadership and the ability to develop staff through mentoring, education and challenging assignments. Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to organize and contribute to projects in a collaborative setting. Solid project management skills, ability to prioritize, goal and objective-driven, including ability to remove obstacles & barriers while remaining collaborative with many EE stakeholders. Ability to approach opportunities, problems and process improvement initiatives creatively and generate and implement new ideas with an objective of providing more value to the Customer.

Education: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, Marketing, or related discipline; an advanced degree is desirable.

Experience: Minimum of eight years' experience, with at least some experience in Energy Efficiency program implementation or account management. Prior supervisory experience required. Must hold a valid motor vehicle license and be able and willing to travel within the service territory.
