Job Description Summary:

Individual plans, coordinates, provides functional supervision, and has accountability for themaintenance and repair of Eversource’s diverse fleet of trucks and equipment . Ensures the fleet is maintainedaccording to budget and time constraints, and follows Eversource’s maintenance and repair policies and procedures. Plans, coordinates, schedules, and supervises activities involving acquisition of parts, materialsand tools. Schedules and verifies repairs made on equipment; checks invoices for accuracy and completeness. Has the ability to use to use Microsoft Excel, Word and other computer programs. Actively promotes a safety-first work environment and positive safety culture. Will have storm restoration and emergency assignments.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

A High School or trade school diploma including at least one year of technical training and 12 years of experience; or an Associate’s degree in Business Administration or an equivalent degree and 9 years of experience; or a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or an equivalent degree and 5 years of experience is required. At least 4 years of supervisory experience is required. Experience in and/or the ability to develop a production schedule required, which requires strong accounting and time management skills, along with the ability to develop accurate and measurable time estimates. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Familiarity with Outlook is preferred. A working knowledge of aerial device hydraulics is preferred. Individual must be able to obtain/maintain a valid CDL. Individual may be required to work second shift.
